We came to mahjong the way most women do - through someone we loved.
And we fell hard for it. The ritual of it, the strategy, the way it brings people together around a table. But when we looked for a set that felt as beautiful as the game deserved, we couldn't find one.
So we made it.
We believe the things we gather around matter. The table, the tiles, the people across from you. We have created sets for women who feel that too - who want something traditional, beautiful, and made to last longer than a trend.

About Us
We're Kasey and Julia — best friends, moms, and the duo behind The Tuesday Table.
Kasey grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and met her husband at the Derby. Julia grew up in McLean, Virginia, and met her husband at Miami of Ohio. Different roads, same destination: Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, where we've now spent the last several years raising our seven children between us (ages 4-11).
Before children, we both had careers we loved. Julia spent her career in sales and event planning with The Ritz-Carlton, where "come sit down" wasn't just hospitality — it was a way of life. Kasey spent years in high-end retail purchasing, developing an eye for quality and craftsmanship. Ten years ago, we both stepped back to raise our kids full-time, trading the 9-5 worklife for raising babies, carpool lines, PTO meetings, sports sidelines, and local charity work.
For a while, we'd talked about starting a business together — especially as our youngest kids neared the end of preschool — but we hadn't landed on the right idea. Then, this past February, we learned to play mahjong, and everything clicked. We wanted to build a business around this new game we'd fallen in love with.
That's how The Tuesday Table came to be: two moms, a shared love of good design, and a belief that some of life's best moments happen around a table with good company.
